There is something about walking in the front door after a long day at work, planting your wife’s favorite flowers in the front garden, painting your son’s walls his favorite shade of blue or inviting the family over for a nice holiday meal.  Home isn’t just place, it is a feeling. Homeownership is pride, accomplishment, peace, happiness and so much more.

Each individual has his or her own unique homeownership journey to be thankful for.  At Union Home Mortgage, we take pride in helping individuals along that path.  Take a peek below at what some of our Partners, and UHM clients, are thankful for from their homeownership journey.

A place to celebrate family…

“I am thankful for such an easy transition from renting to owning. UHM couldn’t have made it smoother,” said Rebecca Medeiros, Loan Processor at UHM.  “The most exciting part was to be able to unpack all the boxes that never had the chance to be opened when I was renting small places. My grandmother’s Hawaiian quilt is now showcased in a spare bedroom and my other grandmother’s china is placed in the buffet table.”

A place to call your own…

“The most exciting part about becoming a homeowner is the responsibility that comes with owning a home, there is a sense of accomplishment that comes along it,” Nick Rosing, Secondary Marketing Assistant, said.  “The thing I love most is having a place to call my own and spending time completing home improvement projects.”

A place to make memories…

I am most thankful that UHM made the process absolutely seamless, I was kept updated every step along the way and all of my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly,” said Mary Udivich, Human Resources Manager.  “To me ‘Home’ means stability and a place to make memories and raise a family.”

No matter what home means to you or what you are most thankful for from your homeownership journey, embrace the sense of accomplishment and pride that goes along with being a homeowner.
